RESEARCH EXPERIENCE FOR UNDERGRADUATES (REU)

JUNE 4, 2007 - AUGUST 10,2007

The Nanobiotechnology Center with faculty located at Cornell University, Wadsworth Center (New York State Department of Health), Princeton University, Oregon Health and Science University, Clark Atlanta University, and Howard University extends an invitation to Junior and senior level undergraduates to participate in our Summer Reserach Experience for Undergraduates program. APPLICATION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 15, 2007
(Early Submission Encouraged)

Awarded participants will receive:

  • Stipend of $3,800
  • Housing
  • Meal plan on- and off-campus
  • Travel expenses will be covered by the NBTC

Eligibility:

  • You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • You must be entering your junior or senior year in Fall 2007
  • You must be available to attend the full 10-week program


    THE REU SUMMER 2007 APPLICATION IS CLOSED. MATERIALS NEED TO HAVE BEEN POSTMARKED BY FEBRUARY 15th.

In addition to the on-line application above, please mail the following application materials by February 15, 2007:
 

    1. Your previous research experience and how this program might prepare you for the future
    2. Your reasons for wanting to participate in the NBTC/REU program
    3. Relevant honors and awards you have recieved
    4. If you believe that your academic record does not accurately reflect your potential, please briefly explain.
